Arifa Tan began her professional journey as a Systems Analyst and has since accumulated over 25 years of experience as a consultant in Human Resources and Customer Experience, alongside more than 30 years in the Information Technology sector. Her dedication to education inspired her to establish Komunitas Kami Anak Bangsa in 2012 and ONE Indonesia in 2016, both of which reflect her commitment to empowering communities and promoting lifelong learning.
Driving Digital Transformation and Empowering People
In 2020, Arifa earned her Master of Education and went on to complete Coach Training, becoming a certified coach in 2021. Her core areas of expertise include customer experience, human resources, and digital transformation. She has supported numerous organisations in adapting to the digital era, offering guidance on leveraging new technologies and designing strategic roadmaps to successfully navigate digital transformation initiatives.

Arifa is also the founder of Phincon (established in 2008), the IDStar Group (2018), and the IFT Group. Phincon has grown to become one of Indonesia’s leading solution partners, while IDStar Group is gaining recognition as a top IT outsourcing provider in the country. Her vision for the IFT Group is to develop the largest virtual workforce, empowering Indonesian professionals to thrive as part of the global labour market. To further this mission, she founded ISTAR Technology Limited, aiming to consolidate all her technological ventures under a unified entity.
